Job Title: Business Relationship Manager

Key focus areas of the job

  • Maintain relationships with users across an allocated client base. This list will change over time as new clients are gained or the prioritization of clients changes.
  • Train users on the use of the Experian Credit Bureau products
  • Monitor users use of the Experian Bureau products that they have access to
  • Try to determine the reasons for fluctuations in use (up or down). See whether reduced use can be stemmed or corrected by any action from Experian. See whether increased use offers Experian any additional opportunities.
  • Identify additional products or features within the products that could be of use to the users
  • Deal with user queries
  • Deal with data queries
  • Ensure that clients are being billed correctly for their utilization
  • Complete forecasts and update forecasts
  • General administration

Experience required

  • Specific or related work experience is not a pre-requisite for the position as long as the individual displays the attributes required.
  • Work experience of a couple of years is definitely required.
  • Experience dealing with people in a formal environment.
  • The following will however be advantageous:
    • Tertiary qualification
    • Exposure to a credit bureau
    • Exposure to the credit industry
    • Exposure to financial services

Attributes of the individual

  • Be self motivated as the person will be working in a small team and will need to take individual responsibility for completing tasks in an acceptable manner.
  • Be presentable and be fluent in either English or Afrikaans. It would be preferable to be fluent in both languages with good writing skills.
  • Be comfortable establishing relationships with users and doing formal presentations. This includes being comfortable with phoning users, introducing oneself and setting up appointments.
  • Be prepared to subject themselves to peer review.
  • Be prepared to work in a small team with remote support from a head office.
  • Be calm and act maturely when under client pressure.
  • Be reasonably confident.

Job Title: External Systems Leader (Network Manager)

Technical resource within Experian SA primarily responsible for day to day operations of external systems. Main responsibilities include:

  • Leading the External Systems Team (technical perspective)
  • Server and System support on Hardware and Software level

Fraud Team Leader / Consultant:

Experian Decision Analytics is a world-class information solutions provider.

We now have an opportunity for an experienced and ambitious fraud solution professional to lead our South African initiatives. Reporting directly to the Managing Director of Experian Decision Analytics in South Africa , the successful applicant will be responsible for the commercial success of EDA's fraud prevention business.

The primary focus will be on the launch and sales into financial services and telecommunications sectors. To achieve this you need to be capable of leading sales, delivery and consulting teams. You will support the sales cycle providing fraud expertise and guidance directly to our clients including bids and proposals etc. Working with the delivery teams, you will ensure that solutions meet and exceed client's requirements and expectations.
