Workshops - Introduction to Scoring

This introductory half day workshop provides a background into the basic concepts of credit scoring. You will learn about the mathematical principles used to model consumer behaviour, and how these models relate to the subjective decision that may have been made in the absence of scoring. Best practice methodologies followed during a typical scorecard development and common pitfalls are discussed to ensure successful scorecard implementation. The second part of the workshop details how these scoring principles are used to build credit bureau based models. This will help you understand how the various credit bureau elements are combined into a single score. You will also learn how credit bureau scores can be used at all stages of account management.

Who should attend?

Credit bureau users and scoring analysts within the banking, retail and telecommunications sectors.
