SACRRA submissions

SACRRA submissions are structured data reports submitted by credit providers to credit bureaus via the SACRRA data sharing environment, submitted in alignment with Regulation 19(13) requirements.

These submissions support the accurate and consistent reporting of consumer credit information within prescribed timelines, supporting transparency and credit risk assessment processes.

SACRRA submission Process

The SACRRA submission Process

  1. Receives onboarding documentation from the client.
  2. Submits the data documentation to ALG Management, along with an MFT request.
  3. ALG Management sets up the necessary infrastructure and shares the SRN (presumably a reference number) with Sales.
  4. ALG Management provides the API and SACRRA Layout to the client or their LMS provider for development purposes.
  5. Sales instructs the client to submit three daily test files and one monthly test file.
  6. Data Forensics tests the UAT (User Acceptance Testing) files and gives sign-off once satisfied.
  7. The client is then informed to submit test files via integration for industry testing, which requires sign-off from four bureaus and SACRRA.
  8. After receiving industry sign-off, the client is informed to begin live data submissions.
  9. Experian monitors these submissions and notifies the client of any data quality issues. The data team provides support and answers related to data.
